We are seeking Senior Talent located in Colombia for a key role as Data & Analytics Specialist who is open to relocation in Madrid.
🎯 Mission:
Your main mission will be to optimize and ensure the quality in the management of project and processing information, acting as a fundamental pillar in business intelligence. You will be responsible for transforming complex data into actionable insights, ensuring that the executive team has the most accurate monitoring reports possible.
✅ Key Requirements:
- Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Superior Engineering or equivalent, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in similar roles.
- Solid Technical Knowledge: Proficiency in Data Science and Business Analytics.
- Languages and Databases: Solid experience in C, Python, and SQL.
- Data Engineering Knowledge (Cloud & ETL): Especially Azure Synapse (cloud) and proficiency in ETL processes.
- Visualization and Excel: Demonstrable experience in Advanced Excel (Visual Basic, macro programming) and in creating dashboards with PowerBI.
- AI and Machine Learning Knowledge: Practical experience in Python and R.
- General Skills: Accredited training in Windows/Microsoft Office. A proactive profile with excellent interpersonal communication skills is required.
📌 Responsibilities:
As a Senior Data Specialist, you will be the analytical backbone for strategic decision-making in the electrical sector:
- Data Engineering and Processing: You will lead the acquisition and cleansing of critical data from processing and project inventories. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and operating robust ETL processes, using SQL for data management and handling ingestion and storage in the cloud with Azure Synapse.
- Advanced Analysis and Modeling: You will apply your knowledge of Data Science and Business Analytics for data exploration and modeling. You will develop AI and Machine Learning solutions primarily using Python and R, contributing predictive value to business processes.
- Strategic Reporting and Visualization: You will provide essential support in preparing evolution tracking reports, creating and maintaining dynamic and intuitive dashboards with PowerBI. Furthermore, advanced handling of Excel is required, including Visual Basic programming and macro management for task automation.
- Specific Development and Proactive Management: You will participate in the development of functionalities with languages such as C for specific solutions. Clear and effective oral and written communication skills are expected to convey complex results at all times.
