Beaver Process Equipment makes high-performance engineered products for the mining industry. You'll lead our flagship Brisbane plant manufacturing our Slurryflex, Abrasiguard & Defender product lines. The Brisbane plant was established 11 years ago and now has over 5500m2 under roof and a team of over 60.
You’ll own everything that happens on site – from safety, quality and production to engineering, capital projects, and team development. You'll be attracted to working in an owner-led business which values its people, reinvests in the business, and has a strong long-term growth strategy.

The Role
This is a full-site leadership role – combining operational control, technical problem-solving, strategic improvement, and people leadership.
You will be running a high-mix / low-volume production system - where 100% of products are built-to-order utilising a configure-to-order (CTO) or engineer-to-order (ETO) workflow. You will be operating a hybrid job shop environment – with separate value streams for each product family.
What you'll own:
You will also be executing a pipeline of improvement projects – including bringing new processes in-house, re-arranging workshop layout, workshop facility upgrades, commissioning new equipment, upgrading quality (QA/QC), new tooling design & manufacture (3D printing & machining), and transfer of manufacturing of a new product (Defender pinch valve). You will report into our executive leader responsible for all operations.
Who You Are
We’re looking for a hands-on, disciplined manufacturing leader who takes full ownership, drives standards, and brings structure and accountability to every part of the plant.
You'll be one of these profiles:
1. Step-Up Candidate
You’re early-mid career and are already leading a manufacturing team – and you’re ready to take charge of a full site. You’ve proven you can lift standards, lead teams, and deliver improvements. Now you want the full mandate and authority to shape an entire operation.
2. Seasoned Plant Leader
You’ve already run a manufacturing site end-to-end – production, engineering, quality, safety, maintenance, and people. You've learned a lot of lessons and want to apply them in a high-trust environment where you can build the operation you've always wanted to.
You'll have this experience:
🏭 Must have – discrete manufacturing background (ie, not continuous or batch process).
🧰 Ideally – manufacturing a company's own engineered product range.
🛠️ Ideally – manufacturing products that are customised-to-order / built-to-order.

Location
🏭 Brisbane, Australia – based full-time at our manufacturing plant in Salisbury.
