We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Frontend Developer to join our team in building a high-performance Progressive Web App (PWA) using Salesforce Commerce Cloud’s PWA Kit. This role focuses on developing scalable, component-driven UIs with React and Chakra UI, integrating with Storyblok CMS, and collaborating closely with design and backend teams.
Key Responsibilities & Deliverables:
- Develop and maintain a performant, responsive PWA using React and Salesforce Commerce Cloud’s PWA Kit.
- Implement UI components using Chakra UI and manage design tokens from Figma.
- Integrate and configure Storyblok CMS schemas and frontend consumption.
- Utilize TanStack React Query for efficient data fetching and caching.
- Build and document reusable components in Storybook.
- Collaborate with designers, backend developers, and product managers in an agile environment.
- Ensure SSR and client-side rendering best practices are followed.
- Optimize performance and accessibility across devices and browsers.
- Participate in code reviews, testing, and continuous integration processes.
Required Skills & Competencies:
- Strong proficiency in React.js and modern JavaScript (ES6+).
- Experience with Chakra UI for theming and component styling.
- Familiarity with TanStack React Query.
- Integration experience with Storyblok CMS (schema setup and frontend consumption).
- Working knowledge of Figma design tokens (colors, typography, spacing).
- Experience with Storybook for UI component development.
- Solid understanding of SSR and client-side rendering.
- Proficient in Git, REST APIs, and agile workflows.
- Strong CSS3 skills.
- Project & Team environment.
Nice to Have:
- TypeScript experience.
- Performance optimization in PWAs.
- Experience with Salesforce Commerce Cloud’s PWA Kit.
- Familiarity with Next.js.
- Understanding of B2C eCommerce flows.
The Project & Team Environment:
You'll be part of a cross-functional agile team, working alongside frontend and backend developers, designers, and product managers. We collaborate closely using tools like Git, Figma, and Storybook. While work is primarily remote, we do have occasional in-person meetings or workshops. For local development, we use Docker (a license is required).
