As a key member of the Revenue Team, the Marketing Coordinator will play an integral role in driving revenue growth across the Banff Jasper Collection (BJC) by supporting and executing data-informed, performance-based marketing strategies. Reporting directly to the Marketing Manager and embedded within a dynamic, cross-functional team, this Jasper-based role will collaborate closely with Revenue, Food & Beverage, and Operations to align marketing efforts with broader commercial goals.

What will you do in this job?

  • Collaborate with the Revenue Team to execute marketing tactics that support short- and long-term revenue objectives across key lines of business in Jasper.
  • Act as the primary marketing liaison for Operations and Food & Beverage teams in Jasper — managing incoming marketing requests and translating business needs into actionable deliverables.
  • Support the seasonal and renovation project lifecycle, coordinating the marketing components required to ensure guest-facing readiness and commercial alignment.
  • Work closely with the Digital Team to keep content on banffjaspercollection.com up to date, relevant, and conversion-focused.
  • Support tactical execution of local campaigns, group and event marketing, and in-market advertising — ensuring alignment with brand and revenue priorities.
  • Manage creative deliverables in partnership with vendors, internal teams, and stakeholders — including print, collateral, and digital assets.
  • Conduct regular on-site walkthroughs to identify on-property marketing opportunities that can improve guest engagement and drive incremental revenue.
  • Coordinate distribution and organization of marketing assets, including maintaining a centralized Digital Asset Management (DAM) system.
  • Work with external partners (e.g. Destination Marketing Organizations) to promote offers, events, and seasonal experiences that align with commercial campaigns.
  • Collaborate with the Social Media Specialist to provide input on content calendars and local storytelling opportunities tied to business goals.

What skills and experience do you need for this job?

  • 2+ years experience in marketing, project management, or agency account management
  • Post-secondary degree or diploma in Marketing, Communications, Tourism, or a related field.
  • Experience with project management tools (e.g. Asana) is a strong asset.
  • Familiarity with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or other creative tools is beneficial.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously.
  • A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with a strong sense of ownership.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Willingness to travel regularly between Jasper, Banff, and Calgary
