Senior Data Engineer in MALTA

The Data Engineer plays a key role in developing sustainable data-driven solutions leveraging on current technologies to meet the Company’s needs by applying domain-driven design practices to build out data applications. The role requires to work on designing a complete data warehouse and implementing a new ETL process along with improving and developing the data architecture.

Accountabilities:

• Architect data solutions including data collection and storage, data modelling,

and data consumption

• Work with stakeholders to implement end-to-end data solutions including

data models that are optimized for business understandability and usability,

data pipelines, and BI products to solve complex business requirements

• Design and implement Data Warehouse architectures

• Deliver data engineering solutions including ELT/ETL development

• Build, monitor, administrate and secure the Company's analytics

infrastructure

• Design and build reporting and analysis tools that help streamline the

business and make reporting, planning, and forecasting more efficient

• Implement and administrate security controls, privileges, and permissions

around data and BI solutions

Knowledge, Experience & Skills:

• Prior experience in a similar position.

• Highly proficient with SQL and database general concepts.

• Understanding of DW modelling methodologies.

• Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau and Power BI.

• Proficient in one or more programming languages.

• Experience using a variety of cloud platforms – preferably Amazon Web

Services (AWS)

• Be familiar with data science model building concepts is a plus.
