We have an immediate requirement for a Full Stack Engineer, AI/ML with one of our startup clients in USA.
The position is contract and 100% remote. Need to work during PST business hours (8am to 5pm PST)
As a Full Stack Engineer, you will work across the stack to build the data and AI interfaces that power client company's product intelligence platform.
Job Duties:
Design, develop, and deploy end-to-end product experiences using React (frontend) and Python / FastAPI (backend).
Build intuitive UIs for data ingestion, entity discovery, and product enrichment workflows — integrating AI/ML model outputs and real-time data visualization.
Develop modular, API-driven systems that connect our backend AI services with a modern frontend experience.
Collaborate with backend engineers and data scientists to surface model insights, metadata, and enrichment confidence scores.
Implement design systems, dashboards, and admin tools to manage product catalogs, model versions, and data lineage.
Ensure responsive, accessible, and high-performance front-end interfaces optimized for enterprise data workflows.
Deploy, monitor, and scale full-stack services on Google Cloud (GCP) using Cloud Run, Firebase, or Kubernetes.
Build with maintainability and extensibility in mind — including test coverage, CI/CD pipelines, and observability hooks.
Participate in architectural decisions, advocate for clean design patterns, and mentor junior engineers.
Must-Have Qualifications :
5+ years of full-stack development experience with strong focus on React (Hooks, Context API, Redux,, TypeScript preferred).
Strong backend experience in Python (FastAPI, Flask) building APIs and integrating data/ML services.
Proven experience with RESTful and GraphQL APIs, microservices architecture, and data-driven applications.
Strong knowledge of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) — especially Cloud Run, Pub/Sub, Cloud Storage, and BigQuery.
Familiarity with AI/ML integration (e.g., model inference APIs, embedding services, semantic search).
Deep understanding of frontend performance optimization, state management, and testing frameworks (Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress).
Experience with databases (PostgreSQL, Firestore, or NoSQL alternatives).
Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and Git-based workflows.
Strong problem-solving and debugging skills across the stack.
Excellent collaboration and communication skills — you thrive in a small, agile, and highly technical team.
Nice-to-Have / Differentiators :
Experience integrating LLMs and AI-based UX (autocomplete, AI-assist features, intelligent forms).
Experience with data visualization libraries (e.g., Recharts, D3.js, Plotly).
Familiarity with Graph databases, vector databases, or semantic search APIs.
Knowledge of agentic AI frameworks (A2A, MCP) or interest in building UI tools for AI-to-AI commerce.
Prior work in eCommerce, product data enrichment, or marketplace integrations.
Experience with, Tailwind CSS, and server-side rendering (SSR).
Contributions to design systems or component libraries.
