Title: Java Developer

Location: New York, NY 10019 (3 days Hybrid)

Duration: 12 months (Potential to convert)

No C2C, (W2 Only-Open for Sponsorship)

Must: (10 Years)

• Strong Programming skills within Java
• Spring Boot Exp
• Good professional working knowledge of Python
• Ability to write API and RESTful APIs
• Good SQL and relational Databases (DB2 and Sybase) Exp
• Good Agile Exp
• Practical hands on knowledge of the SDLC process
• Modern DevOps practices - understanding of modern CICD pipelines
• Strong Written and Verbal Exp
• Financial Services is a HUGE plus - but really any domain
• Knowledge of working with real time systems
• Kafka, RabbitMQ, IMB MQ(Msging Systems)

Plus:

• JavaScript and TypeScript Knowledge (don’t work in isolation here, but needs some knowledge)
• Unix/Linux Exp

D2D: (80% Dev / 20% interacting with other teams/Production Support)

• Create and maintain backend REST webservices to interact with other applications based on pre-established contract agreements.
• Data Processing Batch Management including data orchestration performance and stability
• Working with a global team across multiple locations (Montreal, New York, London, Budapest, and India).
