Project Description:
You'll be working in the IB Financing Data & Analytics Client Static pod in Poland. We manage the client static data products/applications across the IB Financing division which includes the Prime Brokerage and the Securities Based Lending businesses. The client static data applications are widely used and are of mission critical importance to the Financing business as they manage and distribute reference data such as client hierarchy and CID masking-unmasking utility. This brings about direct interaction with our internal client service managers, product managers, COOs and trading desks. The pod is currently progressing towards looking at the long term strategy of the applications especially migration to cloud and integrate with the reference data masters (producers) and consumers within the organisation. As an IT product manager, you'll play an important role in defining the client/customer functional and non-functional requirements.
Responsibilities:
We're looking for a IT Product Manager to:
• engage with colleagues at all levels to elicit business requirements
• ability to deal with senior managers and demanding stakeholders and ability to navigate across a
complex organisation
• collaborate with technologists and product organisation to drive delivery within an Agile framework
• conduct as-is and to-be impact analysis
• contribute to reduction of all security and operational risks, in line with policies and standards
• work directly with different IT delivery streams; deliver projects and project requirements
• ensure the quality and compliance of the product, from also a technical and non-functional requirement
(i.e. production stability, performance, maintainability, ...)
Mandatory Skills Description:
• microservices/API
• business Domain – Financing PB/ETD
• exposure to cloud (Azure preferably) & Completed AZ-900 (fundamentals)
• proactive - ability to take ownership of projects and drive them through to completion
• overall 2 to 5 years of experience working as product manager or business analyst in technology product
• delivering on outcome-focused goals, such as using OKRs (Objectives and Key results)
• ability break business or technical problems into bite-sized user stories which can be mapped to
technology platform solution
• delivery of complex technology products to clients, ideally within the financial services industry
• experience in product lifecycle management- creating product backlog, feature management etc.
• excellent written and verbal communication skills
• technical experience with software or tools such as GitLab, SharePoint, SQL
• micro services, domain PB/ETD
Nice-to-Have Skills Description:
• experience in financial reference data – Client and Book static
