Senior Full-Stack Engineer (San Francisco on site) in SAN FRANCISCO BAY AREA

Visa sponsorship & Relocation 1 day ago

We’re hiring a Senior Full-Stack Engineer for a VC-backed AI growth-marketing startup (SF). You’ll build end-to-end features that power programmatic SEO and multi-agent AI workflows used by well-known tech brands.

What you’ll do
  • Ship features end-to-end: DB models → GraphQL resolvers → polished UI.
  • Improve the reliability & success rate of AI workflows/agents.
  • Use data to automate painful growth-marketing steps.
  • Raise the bar on security, performance, and code quality.
  • Collaborate in person with engineers, design, and product (5 days/week in SF).

Tech you’ll touch

React 18, TypeScript, Next.js, Tailwind, Apollo GraphQL,

C# (.NET 9) + EF Core, Python (AI orchestration), Postgres (incl. vector/pub-sub), Temporal, GCP.

You’re a fit if you have
  • 5–12 years as a full-stack engineer with strong backend foundations.
  • Production experience with React/Next + TypeScript and GraphQL.
  • Depth in one or more backends (C#/.NET preferred, Python/Java/Node also welcome).
  • Solid RDBMS skills (Postgres ideal).
  • History of 0→1 ownership in fast-moving teams.
  • A CS degree (or closely related).
  • Clear communication and a product quality mindset.

Nice to have
  • Temporal or similar async workflow experience.
  • Experience building for growth/marketing or content platforms.

What’s in it for you
  • $180k–$220k + equity (flexible for exceptional talent).
  • Relocation to SF + visa sponsorship available.
  • Unlimited PTO, health/dental/vision, monthly team dinners/lunches, stipends, offsites.

How to apply

Send your Resume + LinkedIn/GitHub to info@valshift.com

(or DM me) with brief answers to:

  1. Are you able to work on-site in SF, 5 days/week? If not local, when can you relocate?
  2. One example of a feature you shipped end-to-end (link or short summary).
  3. Your GraphQL experience (schema/resolvers, pagination, caching/N+1 avoidance).
