JOB SUMMARY
Assists with the review, design, and implementation of compensation programs, processes, and policies across multiple international markets. Analyzes and monitors global compensation data trends, labor market conditions, and regulatory requirements to make recommendations that are competitive, compliant, and aligned with business objectives in each region.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Regularly benchmark jobs against global and local survey data, considering currency fluctuations, cost of living, and regional pay practices.
- Review and approve salary recommendations for promotions, new hires and internal transfers, and provide support to PX and hiring managers in salary negotiations with potential candidates.
- Stay current on compensation-related legislation, tax implications, and statutory benefits in all countries of operation; ensure compliance with local, regional, and international regulations.
- Collaborate with HR partners and business leaders in each country to ensure compensation programs are locally relevant and globally consistent.
- Conduct pay equity analyses across countries and regions, identifying and addressing disparities. Support annual compensation planning processes including for merit increases, bonus programs, and other pay components.
- Support the design and administration of compensation packages for international assignments, including expatriate allowances, relocation, and repatriation.
- Support global compensation projects such as salary structure design and maintenance, incentive plan harmonization, job architecture implementation.
- Conduct regular (biweekly, monthly, and quarterly) audits of compensation data across all international markets to ensure data integrity, accuracy, and compliance with both internal standards and local regulations. Identify and resolve discrepancies, and implement process improvements as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS
DEGREE TYPE: Bachelor's Degree
FIELD(S) OF STUDY: Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration or related field of study; or any equivalent combination of relevant education, skills, training and experience
EXPERIENCE
- Minimum 2 years' experience in compensation administration
- Experience with global compensation surveys and benchmarking.
COMPETENCIES/SKILLS
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions for data analysis, modeling, and visualization to support compensation benchmarking and reporting
- Experience with international compensation administration, including exposure to multiple regions preferred (e.g., Americas, EMEA, APAC, LATAM).
- Knowledge of global compensation surveys and benchmarking tools
- Familiarity with international assignment policies, global mobility, and expatriate compensation.
- Strong cross-cultural communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to interpret and apply international labor laws and regulations.
