Overview
A Junior Data Analyst is an entry-level position and will involve seeking and collecting relevant data, as well as documenting the information be processed. Job duties include gathering data, interpreting the statistics, writing reports, and designing charts and graphs. Needed strong mathematical skills, databases, SQL, Python, and Excel, and excellent critical thinking, communication, and data visualization skills.
Responsibilities
- Managing and merging multiple Excel data files without error or data corruption.
- Perform detailed data analysis using SQL on data in the Single Customer View and other data sources.
- Analyze & manipulate data in Excel, and provide feedback to clients.
- Assist with various aspects of the data management process – which may include data input.
- Collecting, tracking and trending projection / forecast data to assist in developing manufacturing supply or production plans for the Med Device business operations.
- Working closely with the Materials Management Team and all Supply Chain partners regarding the management of pipeline and finished goods supply.
- Providing critical Demand and Supply volume analysis and input to manufacturing capacity utilization and for customer service.
- Demand and Supply data entry, manipulation, analysis and reporting.
- Maintaining lines of communication with teammates and other internal departments to ensure all data is properly communicated and addressed.
- Presenting data result outputs to partners and management teams as needed.
- Desired skills for junior data analyst include: SQL,Python,R,CRM systems,SAS & MS Office.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Sciences, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Economics, Engineering.
- Must have at least 2 years of work experience.
