Position Summary

LINE Thailand is forming a new AI Team to accelerate the integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) into LINE’s digital products and business solutions — including LINE Chat, Official Account (OA), LINE Ads, LINE Shopping, and other consumer and business services.

As the Head of AI & Innovation, you will lead the company’s AI transformation – shaping strategy, driving product integration, and embedding AI into the core of LINE’s ecosystem. This role combines technical leadership, strategic vision, and hands-on innovation, ensuring AI enhances user experiences, business performance, and product differentiation in Thailand’s fast-evolving digital landscape.

Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership

• Define and implementAI integration strategy for LINE Thailand, ensuring alignment with regional and global AI directions
• Build and lead a multidisciplinary AI Team of engineers, data scientists, and product experts, while closely collaborating with business teams
• Identify high-impact AI opportunities in personalization, automation, marketing, customer engagement, and monetization
• Work closely with LINE HQ and regional AI Teams to localize and deploy global and local AI initiatives for the Thai market
  
  

AI Product Integration & Development

• Lead the conception, development, and rollout of AI-powered features and innovations across LINE’s ecosystem (e.g., conversational AI, recommendation systems, ad optimization, etc.)
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to developAI-driven prototypes and proof-of-concepts for rapid testing
• Ensure AI initiatives meet performance, scalability, and ethical usage
  
  

Governance & Partnerships

• Establish frameworks forAI governance, responsible AI practices, and compliance with data privacy regulations
• Build strategic partnerships with technology providers to accelerate AI capabilities
• Continuously monitor global AI trends and emerging technologies, integrating relevant advancements into LINE’s AI roadmap
  
  

Team & Capability Building

• Build, lead, and mentor a high-performingAI Team capable of delivering across strategy, engineering, and product lines
• Promote a culture of innovation, agility, and data-driven experimentation
  
  

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in technology, product development, or data/AI strategy, ideally within in digital platform or consumer technology companies
• Strong technical foundation in Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML), or Data Science with the ability to translate technology into business impact
• Proven experience leading cross-functional innovation or AI product teams
• Deep understanding ofAI applications in messaging, digital marketing, and platform ecosystems
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
• Advanced degree inComputer Science, Data Science, AI, Engineering, or a related field is preferred
• Professional fluency in English (Thai language is a plus)

Note: Candidates not currently based in Thailand must be willing to relocate to Thailand for this role. LINE Thailand will provide relocation support for the selected candidate.
