About the Opportunity
Seeking an experienced Director of Strategic Marketing – Power Systems to lead global marketing strategy for its power management portfolio. This includes AC/DC power systems, switchgear, busway, energy storage, and power distribution solutions.
This role is ideal for a strategic commercial leader within the power, electrical, or energy infrastructure industry—someone who understands how technology, reliability, and innovation come together to drive industrial performance. You’ll be responsible for shaping market strategy, portfolio positioning, and go-to-market execution to accelerate growth across key industrial and commercial sectors.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead global market strategy for power management solutions—defining target segments, positioning, and differentiated value propositions across multiple industrial markets.
- Partner with Product Management on portfolio roadmap, pricing strategy, and lifecycle priorities to drive sustainable and profitable growth.
- Develop and execute global go-to-market (GTM) plans that align with regional commercial teams and translate into measurable business results.
- Conduct and act on market intelligence—competitive analysis, trend forecasting, and opportunity identification across electrification, automation, and energy transition initiatives.
- Champion commercial enablement by developing strategic messaging frameworks, sales plays, and positioning tools that enhance customer engagement and win rate.
- Drive brand visibility and thought leadership through industry content, campaigns, and events that reinforce the company’s leadership in power systems.
- Serve as the voice of the market—providing actionable insights to leadership on growth opportunities and portfolio investments.
- Lead and mentor a high-performing marketing team to deliver impactful, measurable outcomes.
Ideal Background
- 12+ years in strategic marketing, product management, or commercial leadership within power systems, electrical infrastructure, or energy storage sectors.
- Proven success developing go-to-market strategy and driving market share growth for complex industrial or electrical products.
- Familiarity with AC/DC power systems, switchgear, busway, or power distribution solutions.
- Engineering or technical background preferred; MBA a plus.
- Strong financial and analytical acumen, with ability to connect marketing activity to business performance.
- Excellent communicator and collaborator with proven experience leading cross-functional global teams.
- Process-oriented, data-driven, and skilled at turning strategy into execution.
