Interview Processing Timelines from End to End
Responsibilities
- Review and analyze system requirements, specifications, and technical documents.
- Design, develop, and execute manual test cases and test plans.
- Identify, document, and track defects using bug tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, or similar).
- Perform different types of testing including: Functional testing, Regression testing and User acceptance testing (UAT)
- Collaborate closely with developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to understand product features and requirements.
- Provide clear, concise, and actionable bug reports with reproducible steps.
- Verify fixes and perform re-testing.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes, standards, and methodologies.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives).
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 1–3 years of experience in software testing or quality assurance.
- Strong understanding of the software development life cycle (SDLC) and software testing life cycle (STLC).
- Hands-on experience with test case management tools (e.g., TestRail, Zephyr).
- Familiarity with bug tracking systems (e.g., Jira, Bugzilla).
- Knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Ability to identify edge cases and think from an end-user perspective.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
