The successful candidate will work remotely within the UK, with occasional travel to London approximately once every few months. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a major project within the insurance or financial services sector, leveraging your expertise in end-to-end UX design processes. The role requires a proactive, detail-oriented professional capable of translating complex requirements into user-friendly interfaces using Figma and adhering to global accessibility standards.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in UX and UI design, with proven experience working within the insurance or financial services industry. Essential qualifications include proficiency in Figma, a solid understanding of end-to-end design processes, and familiarity with global accessibility standards. A portfolio demonstrating previous work on complex digital projects is highly desirable. Candidates should have excellent communication skills, the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, and a keen eye for detail. A degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field is preferred, but relevant experience and a strong portfolio will also be considered.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end UX design process for the new insurance programme, including user research, wireframing, prototyping, and usability testing.
  • Create detailed wireframes, mock-ups, and interactive prototypes using Figma to communicate design ideas effectively.
  • Collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to understand project requirements and translate them into innovative design solutions.
  • Ensure all designs adhere to global accessibility standards, promoting inclusivity and usability for diverse user groups.
  • Conduct user testing and gather feedback to refine and improve the user experience continually.
  • Maintain consistency across all design assets and ensure alignment with brand guidelines and project objectives.
  • Stay updated with the latest UX/UI trends, tools, and best practices to bring innovative ideas to the project.

Benefits

This role offers a competitive daily rate within the IR35 framework, with flexibility to work remotely from anywhere within the UK.
