Responsibilities

Summary : (Fully Remote / Virtual Role)

The Senior HR Business Partner is responsible for executing key HR initiatives while supporting the Frontdoor vision. This role manages the administration of HR organizational policies and procedures, in partnership with our people team COEs, providing a positive associate environment, and providing consultative services to associates and leadership. This role may also contribute to special projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Learn and know key business knowledge. Staying informed on company strategy, financial goals, and business priorities, you will learn the structure and key functions of assigned business units. You will use data and insights to anticipate workforce needs. You will build credibility by speaking the language of the business.
  • Own more than one functional area/leader organization. You will translate business priorities into actionable HR strategies, proactively identify talent gaps and workforce risks and facilitate change management initiatives effectively.
  • You will consult with client groups and HRBPs on moderate to complex situations independently that support the Frontdoor Vision and HOME values.
  • Build key relationships and provide influence. Partner with leaders and associates on interpretation of company policy, HOME values, HR administration (benefits, pay, performance management, and compensation) and more to ensure policies and procedures are executed consistently.
  • Be a change leader. Help lead communication and training during change, in partnership with our people team COEs. Help leaders build resilience and adaptability, identify risks and remove barriers to initiatives and model a positive, inclusive, forward-thinking environment. This includes engaging in the facilitation of reorganization efforts, and/or cultural alignment activities to optimize business performance.
  • Coach and guide leaders on performance management and talent development.
  • Navigate and resolve employee concerns promptly and fairly. Partner with applicable stakeholders to ensure the company is compliant with all state and federal employment laws and regulations. Lead workplace investigations through to their entirety, partner with senior team members and leadership to identify the next course of action.
  • Lead new hire orientation and influencing the associates experience by informing them of Frontdoor’s Purpose, Mission & Vision.
  • Interpret data and analytics, identify trends and predict future needs in alignment with the people team and business (ie. engagement survey, employee data).
  • Innovate and can use technology to progress the organization to move forward (i.e.. systems, advanced technologies).
  • Own and lead special projects.
  • May assume other duties as applied.

Qualifications

Required Skills:

  • Knowledge and skill with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Strong analytical capabilities and an ability to influence managers/leaders with data-driven recommendations to improve performance, retention, and the associate experience.
  • Proactively identify ways to engage associates and leaders
  • Demonstrated experience with Project Management, including leading projects independently
  • Experience in associate relations, staffing, performance management, leadership development, coaching, and training
  • Communicates effectively in both written and verbal form across various levels of leadership, has executive presence
  • Comfortable working in ambiguous business situations, has a strong change leadership ability
  • Has worked independently with various levels of leadership to achieve business outcomes

Preferred Skills:

Physical Role Requirements : Be seated at a computer intermittently for up to eight hours a day. Move up to 10 pounds occasionally, by lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, or otherwise repositioning objects. Sitting for long periods of time while using office equipment such as computers and phones. Repetitive motions using hands and digits; such as movement of wrists, hands and fingers while picking, pinching and typing during your normal working environment.

Minimum Education, Licensure and Professional Certification requirements: High school diploma or equivalent required, Bachelor’s degree in human resources or relevant experience preferred, HR certification (SHRM-CP/SHRM-SP,PHR/SPHR) preferred

Minimum Experience required : 5+years of experience required in human resources or a related field

Travel: Ability to travel overnight on an occasional basis – less than 10%

Bonus Type : Corporate Annual Incentive Plan - AIP

Other/State Specific

This role pays between $103,100 to $128,900,000 and your actual base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, responsibilities, experience, and location.
