Job Details

The Quality Manager is responsible for ensuring that all products consistently meet the highest standards of quality and compliance. This role oversees quality assurance activities across the production lifecycle, from raw material inspection to final product release. The Quality Manager will lead a team dedicated to reducing defects, improving processes, and enhancing customer satisfaction. In addition, this position will be responsible for establishing training programs, implementing best practices, and driving continuous improvement initiatives in partnership with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement quality control systems aligned with industry standards and customer requirements.
  • Review and approve product and process specifications to ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines and internal quality standards.
  • Establish and monitor quality requirements for raw materials; partner with suppliers to ensure compliance.
  • Oversee quality audits and ensure adherence to health, safety, and legal requirements.
  • Lead, mentor, and evaluate the performance of inspectors, technicians, and quality staff.
  • Manage quality control checkpoints across product development and production stages; investigate and resolve deviations.
  • Conduct inspections of finished goods and approve or reject based on established quality benchmarks.
  • Maintain accurate quality records, analyze data trends, and recommend process improvements.
  • Gather and interpret customer feedback to drive product and service improvements.
  • Prepare and present quality reports, metrics, and corrective action plans to senior leadership.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and optimize overall product quality.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Quality Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Professional certifications (e.g., Six Sigma, ISO 9001, ASQ Certified Quality Engineer) preferred.
  • 10+ years of quality assurance or quality engineering experience, with proven leadership in a manufacturing or production environment.
  • Strong knowledge of quality control methodologies, statistical analysis, and relevant regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills with a track record of managing successful teams.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and quality management software/systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced production environment while ensuring accuracy and compliance.
