IT PROJECT MANAGER

Location: 100% Remote

Duration: 3-Month contract with potential for extension


Our client, is immediately seeking an IT Project Manager who is detail-oriented, has strong communication skills, and can thrive in a fast-paced environment. In this role, you’ll lead projects from planning to completion, analyze data to drive insights, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful outcomes.


Ideal candidates have strong project management skills, proficiency in Excel and data analysis, and a track record of effectively managing resources and communicating progress to stakeholders. A background in insurance operations, managed care systems, or related fields is a plus.


Required Skills & Experience

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Minimum 6 years of relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • At least 2 years of general business experience, with an emphasis on data analysis or planning
  • Knowledge of insurance procedures, managed care systems, or related field operations
  • Strong project management skills
  • Proficiency in data analysis and Excel
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presentations
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and general PC applications
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills
  • Good negotiation skills and ability to work effectively in a team
  • Ability to meet or exceed performance standards


Desired Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Statistics, or Quantitative Analysis
  • Coursework in Computer Science


What You Will Be Doing

  • Develop and manage projects from initiation to completion, ensuring compliance and oversight
  • Identify resources, research project data and procedures, and understand project requirements
  • Generate and analyze statistical data reports and manage project plans
  • Communicate project progress to stakeholders and resolve issues as needed
  • Participate in presentations and provide training when required
  • Ensure completion of release materials and documentation
  • Administer company personnel policies and follow staffing standards
  • Interview, hire, and develop colleague performance plans; conduct performance reviews
  • Provide guidance, leadership, and motivation to maximize team performance
