IT PROJECT MANAGER
Location: 100% Remote
Duration: 3-Month contract with potential for extension
Our client, is immediately seeking an IT Project Manager who is detail-oriented, has strong communication skills, and can thrive in a fast-paced environment. In this role, you’ll lead projects from planning to completion, analyze data to drive insights, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful outcomes.
Ideal candidates have strong project management skills, proficiency in Excel and data analysis, and a track record of effectively managing resources and communicating progress to stakeholders. A background in insurance operations, managed care systems, or related fields is a plus.
Required Skills & Experience
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum 6 years of relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- At least 2 years of general business experience, with an emphasis on data analysis or planning
- Knowledge of insurance procedures, managed care systems, or related field operations
- Strong project management skills
- Proficiency in data analysis and Excel
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presentations
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and general PC applications
- Strong analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Good negotiation skills and ability to work effectively in a team
- Ability to meet or exceed performance standards
Desired Skills & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Statistics, or Quantitative Analysis
- Coursework in Computer Science
What You Will Be Doing
- Develop and manage projects from initiation to completion, ensuring compliance and oversight
- Identify resources, research project data and procedures, and understand project requirements
- Generate and analyze statistical data reports and manage project plans
- Communicate project progress to stakeholders and resolve issues as needed
- Participate in presentations and provide training when required
- Ensure completion of release materials and documentation
- Administer company personnel policies and follow staffing standards
- Interview, hire, and develop colleague performance plans; conduct performance reviews
- Provide guidance, leadership, and motivation to maximize team performance
