Company:

A Global Asset Management Firm is looking to hire a Sr. Data Scientist with experience in financial services, investments, and/or trading to join their investment team based in Denver. This role would be perfect for someone who is used to working as a part of a team as a sole/independent data expert. This Denver-based team is performing well and continued growth is expected for anyone who joins next.

Role Details/Duties:

• Collaborate closely with the team to support data analysis needs
• Leverage traditional and non traditional datasets to assist analysts in investment approach
• Web scraping to locate relevant useful data to support team research needs
• Apply statistical and ML techniques to analyze data

Needed Skills:

• Python/R, SQL, Snowflake, Tableau (or similar tool)
• Understanding of finance, accounting, credit
• Expertise and confidence in presenting data and insights to stakeholders
• Confidence in being the data expert for the team, willingness to speak up to let the team know what they should be looking at from a data perspective before they know to ask
