What You Will Do

You will be working in the Product Engineering team, contributing to the development of on-premises product capabilities. You will help validate new hardware platforms and virtualization environments, ensure our products run successfully, and provide key metrics required for product operations. Additionally, you will implement product features according to the product roadmap, following the development practices of your team.

You will adhere to the agile development practices and attend the ceremonies of your team, namely stand-up meetings, refinement of your tasks, review meetings and release management meetings.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for implementing new product capabilities that comply with the quality high
• standard of Forescout products.
• Responsible for experimenting and validating product target platforms based on physical
• devices, virtualization OS layers and cloud-based platforms.
• Responsible to internal and customer facing documentation of product target platforms.
  
  

Requirements

• Deep knowledge of Linux OS and bash script programming is a must.
• 8 years of experience in software product development
• Proven experience in automation in Python.
• Experienced in managing cloud resources for Azure and AWS cloud providers.
• Strong understanding of the networking and network security. You must know the role of NAC, Firewalls and IDS/IPS.
• Proven experience with virtualization technologies, such as ProxMox, VMware, or KVM.
• Good knowledge of configuring Docker containers.
• Knowledge of CI/CD systems, namely Jenkins and GitHub
  
  

Wishes

• Familiar with physical server management and failover configurations.
• Experience in automation with Ansible
• Knowledge of on-premises Kubernetes distributions
• Experience with Ubuntu and RedHat
