Senior IT Project Manager
M&A Systems Integration
Location: 100% Remote (CST/EST preferred)
Contract Type: W2 Contract (ASAP start – March 2027)
Pay Rate: $75–$85/hr (depending on experience)
We are urgently seeking a Senior IT Project Manager to step into a large-scale, long-term M&A integration program for a major energy/utilities organization. You will lead enterprise system integration efforts in one of six core portfolios as the business integrates another acquired company across HR, Finance, Supply Chain, and more. This is a hands-on PM role with executive visibility, tight deadlines, and multiple third-party partners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own project plans, timelines, and scope across assigned integration workstreams (HR, Finance, Legal, Platforms, Supply Chain, or Apps)
- Drive stand-ups, issue/risk management, and reporting cadence (ServiceNow, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Coordinate with vendors (e.g., Accenture, Deloitte) and internal stakeholders
- Manage dependencies across application integrations, business process transformation, and compliance milestones
- Track deliverables and escalate blockers during UAT, go-lives, and change controls
Requirements:
- 8–10+ years of IT project management experience (application-focused)
- Direct experience on large-scale M&A integration or divestiture projects
- Familiarity with enterprise platforms: Oracle HCM, Workday, ServiceNow, ERP, etc.
- Comfortable working with 3rd party SIs and offshore teams
- Grace under pressure in ambiguous, high-stakes programs
Nice to Haves:
- Experience using UPPM (Project Portfolio Tool) or ServiceNow PPM
- Background in utilities, energy, or regulated industries
- PMP certification
