Position Overview

ISPA Technology, LLC is seeking a Senior Drafter with an emphasis in graphics and IT to support Navy engineering projects. The ideal candidate will combine strong drafting and graphics design skills with practical IT and systems support experience to help deliver high-quality technical products for our government customers.

Key Responsibilities

The Senior Drafter will develop and maintain detailed 2D and 3D engineering drawings, schematics, and technical illustrations in accordance with DoD and NAVSEA standards. Responsibilities include creating visual materials for engineering documentation and briefings, maintaining configuration control and revision tracking, and collaborating with engineers to accurately represent mechanical, electrical, and system-level components. The role also provides local IT support, including workstation setup, software installation, troubleshooting, and coordination with corporate IT to ensure cybersecurity compliance. Additionally, the candidate will manage shared drives, data repositories, and digital assets, ensuring all documentation and systems meet Navy and DoD information assurance requirements.

Qualifications

  • Associate’s degree in Drafting, Engineering Technology, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 5+ years of experience in drafting, CAD, or graphics production in a technical or engineering environment.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or equivalent CAD software, and Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign).
  • Working knowledge of Windows network environments, basic IT troubleshooting, and system configuration.
