Description
CCP Games is seeking a talented Narrative Designer to join the EVE: Frontier team.
We’re looking for a creative and detail-oriented narrative designer with experience with storytelling and content authoring within a live-ops environment. Our ideal candidate also has experience in evaluating player feedback to in-game events through surveys and data analytics. Knowledge in designing game and narrative systems is a plus.
As a Narrative Designer at CCP Games, you will be based in our Reykjavík office, bringing your experience and expertise to help craft and evolve the EVE universe through EVE: Frontier.
Your Tasks:
- Collaborate with the design and creative teams to create a cohesive storytelling experience.
- Design and document narrative systems and content for a survival MMO game.
- Collaboratively develop storylines which intrigue players and draw them into the game world.
- Analyze playtest feedback and telemetry data to iterate storytelling methods.
- Work within our proprietary engine and toolset to implement prototypes, content,
and storylines.
Your Profile:
- 3 years of experience in narrative design or another related field.
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
- Comfortable with design tools and game engines such as Unity or Unreal, spreadsheets, and narrative tools such as Twine or Inform 7.
- Familiar with MMORPGs or live service games.
- Familiarity with programming or database management concepts (Python, SQL) is a plus.
