System Design Engineer Specialist in SWEDEN

We at VIPAS AB are looking for a Function Architect – Electrical & Embedded Systems

📍 Location: Sweden | Hybrid role

As a Function Architect, you’ll take ownership of the functional content of EE and software systems. You’ll collaborate with end-user function owners, system architects, and product teams to define, lead, and improve the electrical and embedded architecture that drives the vehicles of tomorrow.

🔧 Your Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate the functional content within EE and software systems.
• Work closely with multiple stakeholders to translate needs into clear requirements.
• Ensure system consistency and architectural integrity as functions evolve.
• Identify improvement areas, risks, and optimization opportunities.
• Contribute to building long-term system and technology roadmaps.

💡 What You Bring

• MSc in Electrical, Mechanical, or a related Engineering field.
• Hands-on experience in EE and software development or architecture.
• Strong understanding of vehicle functionality and embedded systems.
• Excellent analytical and system-thinking mindset.
• Clear communication, leadership, and collaboration skills.
• Fluent in English (Swedish is a plus).
