Role Description:
We're currently looking for a skilled iOS SDK Developer with strong React Native experience to help us build high-performance, cross-platform SDKs- not just apps. If you enjoy solving low-level technical challenges and want to work at the intersection of native and hybrid technologies, we’d love to meet you.
What You’ll Do
- Design, develop, and maintain performant SDKs for iOS and React Native environments.
- Lead architectural discussions and contribute to cross-platform SDK strategy (React Native, Flutter, Cordova, etc.).
- Collaborate with backend, design, and product teams to deliver integrated mobile solutions.
- Write clean, testable, and efficient code with a focus on modularity and performance.
- Ensure SDKs are developer-friendly, well-documented, and easy to integrate.
- Optimize memory usage, battery efficiency, and mobile performance.
- Support enterprise customers during SDK integration and troubleshoot issues.
- Mentor junior and mid-level engineers through code reviews and technical guidance.
- Stay current with mobile and cross-platform development trends and best practices.
What We’re Looking For
Must-Have Skills:
- 3–5 years of hands-on iOS development experience with deep knowledge of system APIs and mobile architecture.
- Proven experience building and maintaining mobile SDKs or libraries.
- Strong command of Swift (Objective-C is a plus).
- Solid understanding of React Native, particularly in creating and managing native bridges.
- Proficient in multithreading, lifecycle management, and mobile performance tuning.
- Familiarity with tools such as Instruments, Charles Proxy, and crash analytics platforms.
- Strong foundation in mobile networking and RESTful APIs.
Nice-to-Have:
- Experience with dependency managers (CocoaPods, Swift Package Manager, NPM).
- Exposure to additional hybrid frameworks like Flutter, Cordova, or Capacitor.
- Experience integrating or working with Generative AI (GenAI) technologies, especially in the context of developer tooling, mobile interfaces, or on-device AI enhancements.
- Familiarity with mobile CI/CD, build automation, and SDK versioning.
- Knowledge of crash reporting, analytics, or instrumentation SDKs.
- Understanding of mobile security best practices and compliance standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).
