Job Description
Role Summary
The HR & Mobility Advisor will play a key role in supporting both the HR operational needs and the immigration/mobility requirements of the Irish business. This position will act as a central point of contact for internal mobility requests and external candidate immigration support, ensuring a smooth and compliant process for all stakeholders. The role also encompasses a broad range of HR administrative responsibilities, contributing to an efficient and employee-focused HR service.
Key responsibilities (the below list is not exhaustive)
Global Mobility & Immigration Support
- Act as the primary liaison for internal mobility requests and external hires requiring immigration support (e.g., critical skills employment permits, entry visas).
- Provide advice about local immigration requirements, visa and work permit requirements, types of work permits and requirements/restrictions to obtain these.
- Serve as the primary liaison for employees relocating to Ireland, offering guidance and support throughout their transition.
- Partner with the recruitment team, hiring managers, and global mobility colleagues to facilitate smooth onboarding of international hires.
- Work closely with the company’s external immigration provider to manage CSEP applications and entry visa processes.
- Coordinate visa applications and ensure compliance with Irish immigration regulations.
- Maintain accurate employee mobility records and reports.
- Support the completion of transfer forms and HRIS updates for employee relocations and assignments. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of immigration policies and procedures, advising stakeholders accordingly.
- Identify process improvements and contribute to the efficiency of mobility operations.
HR Administration & Operations
- Draft and issue employment contracts in coordination with the recruitment team.
- Maintain and update employee records in the HRIS system, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
- Schedule and coordinate new hire inductions and onboarding activities.
- Respond to internal and external inquiries or requests (by employees or management team) and provide assistance and advice.
- Generate HRIS reports and data metrics to support business insights and compliance.
- Manage offboarding processes for leavers, including exit documentation and system updates.
- Process employee leave of absence requests and employment verification letters.
- Support with the local implementation of HR policies.
- Support with local Learning & Development training requirements.
- Ensure compliance with GDPR and internal data handling policies.

- Internal: Recruitment Team, Hiring Managers, HR Business Partners, Global Mobility Team, Finance Team, Facilities Team,
- External: Immigration advisors, relocation providers.
Qualifications
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- 2+ years of experience in HR operations within a fast-paced environment, with exposure to immigration or global mobility strongly preferred.
- Strong understanding of Irish employment law and immigration processes.
- Experience using HRIS systems
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
Desirable Skills
- Solid understanding of Irish visa processes, particularly Critical Skills Employment Permits (CSEP) and related immigration categories.
- Experience in supporting international employee relocations and cross-border assignments.
- Analytical mindset with ability to interpret HR data and metrics.
- Demonstrated cultural awareness and the ability to work effectively in a diverse, global environment.
