Role Overview:-
We’re hiring an Engineering Lead to architect, build, and scale our data and AI infrastructure. You’ll lead a high-performing team designing scalable automation, AI decision engines, and robust systems for business and infra monitoring. This is a hands-on, high-ownership role at the core of our technology backbone.
Key Responsibilities:-
- Architect and own end-to-end data pipelines across brands, channels, and geographies
- Implement robust data governance, streaming data ingestion, and data quality control
- Build AI-first automation engines (marketing, supply chain, pricing, inventory)
- Deploy predictive and generative AI systems for intelligent business operations
- Set up real-time anomaly detection and self-healing infra systems
- Lead, mentor, and hire engineers—build a culture of innovation, speed, and ownership
- Drive MLOps adoption for scalable model deployment and monitoring
- Align technology with business goals via close collaboration with product and business teams
Skills & Experience:-
- Proven data engineering expertise (SQL/NoSQL, cloud warehouses, Kafka/Kinesis)
- Deep hands-on experience in AI/ML systems (forecasting, pricing, anomaly detection, generative AI)
- Programming proficiency in Python, Go, or Java; full stack background preferred
- Knowledge of agentic AI frameworks (LangChain, LlamaIndex, AutoGen)
- Familiarity with MLOps tools (MLflow, Kubeflow, SageMaker, Vertex AI)
- Experience leading lean engineering teams in startups or fast-growth tech companies
- Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
- Prior work in retail/ecommerce platforms (Flipkart, Amazon, Walmart, Swiggy, Zepto, etc.) preferred

- - Have 8 –10 years’ experience, including 3 – 4 as a Lead/Manager of small-mid engineering teams
- - Have delivered AI-first, data-centric solutions in ecommerce/retail (recent hands-on experience essential)

- - Demonstrate strong business-technology alignment and communication skills
- - Are based in Bangalore or open to relocate (priority given to location fit)
