We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Manager to lead our RCD and Design teams. This role is crucial in driving vehicle innovation, ensuring technical excellence, and maintaining operational and regulatory standards across engineering and production.

As Technical Manager, you will oversee a multidisciplinary team responsible for product design, homologation, compliance, and technical support, while facilitating effective collaboration across departments.



Job Requirements


  • University degree in technical or engineering sciences (Bachelor’s or Master’s – Level I/II).
  • 5+ years of experience in a senior engineering or RCD leadership role, preferably in the automotive or manufacturing industry.
  • Strong background in vehicle design, homologation, and technical documentation.
  • Experience with ERP systems and cross-departmental project management.
  • Proven ability to lead and develop engineering teams.
  • Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and communication skills.
  • Proficient in technical English (Czech or Slovak is a plus).
  • Attendance in our Ilava office in SK. Relocation packages are offered


Job Responsibilities


  • Lead and develop a world-class team of RCD, design, and homologation specialists.
  • Oversee the creation, maintenance, and management of complete electronic documentation for all vehicle variants.
  • Ensure technical excellence through cross-functional collaboration with production, aftersales, and compliance teams.
  • Guarantee regulatory compliance by aligning production with validated drawings and homologation documentation.
  • Maintain and update internal tools such as Skill Matrices, Job Descriptions, and Adaptation Plans.
  • Conduct annual performance reviews, support career development, and motivate the design department team.
  • Manage technical risk by proactively identifying and mitigating engineering issues.
  • Ensure ERP system accuracy with up-to-date project data, procedures, and documentation.
  • Safeguard the company's intellectual property through proper record-keeping and policy compliance.
  • Support budgeting and resource planning to align technical activities with company goals.
  • Keep TORSUS at the forefront of innovation by tracking trends in vehicle technology, materials, and homologation
  • Promote and maintain a professional image that aligns with the company's brand and values.
