We are looking for a Senior WordPress Developer to lead a key WordPress project end-to-end. This is a hands-on, full-stack role that requires a keen eye for pixel-perfect execution. You will work alongside a tech lead, but we need someone who can take ownership of development from design implementation to backend optimisation. 

Here’s what you’ll be doing: 

• Lead the development of a WordPress project from start to finish. 
• Ensure pixel-perfect execution of designs. 
• Develop custom WordPress themes and plugins with Gutenberg, Kinsta, or WP Engine experience preferred. 
• Work on both front-end and back-end development, ensuring seamless performance.
• Collaborate with designers and stakeholders to deliver high-quality, scalable solutions.
• Implement best practices for performance, security, and maintainability. 
• If experienced, leverage React for modern UI enhancements. 

What you’ll bring: 

• Strong experience with WordPress development (custom themes, plugins, and performance optimization). 
• Hands-on full-stack development experience. 
• Proven ability to deliver pixel-perfect implementations. 
• Experience with Gutenberg, Kinsta, or WP Engine (at least one is required). 
• Strong knowledge of PHP, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and MySQL. 
• Familiarity with React is a plus. 
• Good English communication skills (you will work with a tech lead).

This is a remote role, with core working hours aligned to the Australian AEST time zone. We value flexibility but also trust you to manage your workload effectively. You’ll stay connected with the team through Slack, G-suite, and email — and your ability to communicate clearly and proactively with clients and stakeholders will set you up for success.
