The Role

We’re looking for a Senior Automation & Controls Engineer to bridge the physical and digital worlds — designing, deploying, and refining intelligent automation systems that let our robots operate in real industrial environments.


What You’ll Do

  • Design and maintain advanced automation systems integrating PLCs, sensors, actuators, and vision components.
  • Develop scalable automation frameworks to enable robot data collection, testing, and learning.
  • Collaborate with AI, robotics, and hardware teams to bring full-stack intelligence into production.
  • Own the controls layer — ensuring speed, reliability, and precision in every motion.
  • Work directly with founders and world-class engineers in a fast-moving, flat organization.


What You Need to Succeed

  • 3–7 years of experience in automation or controls engineering.
  • Proven success deploying production-level robotics or industrial automation systems.
  • Proficiency in C++ and Python, plus a strong grasp of systems integration.
  • Solid understanding of PLCs, sensors, and vision systems.
  • Bonus: experience with AI-driven or adaptive control systems.
