The Role
As a Human Resource Generalist, you will administer a variety of human resources functions that drive our company culture and support our team. This includes managing recruitment and onboarding processes to ensure seamless integration for new hires, fostering employee engagement and retention through thoughtful programs and performance support, and administering employee benefits while ensuring compliance with labor laws. You will assist in maintaining and updating human resources policies and tracking key metrics to inform leadership decisions. Additionally, you’ll coordinate professional development opportunities, support leadership in HR strategy and succession planning, and represent the company in community and industry events. This role will closely partner with leadership and staff to foster an inclusive and effective remote work environment.

Minimum Qualifications
- 3 - 5 years of experience in human resources, with a focus on recruiting, onboarding, employee engagement, compliance, and HR operations.
- Strong understanding of employment laws, HR policies, and best practices.
- Proficiency with HR systems (HRIS, ATS) and comfort using cloud-based collaboration tools such as Microsoft Teams and SharePoint.
- Experience working in Salesforce and supporting a remote or hybrid workforce in a small business, or consulting environment preferred.
Compensation
This is a 1099 contractor role with an hourly rate starting at $35/hour, depending on qualifications and experience, for up to 20 hours per week. As a contractor, you would not eligible for company benefits such as PTO, health insurance, or retirement contributions.
Working Hours and Location:
This is a fully remote role open to candidates based in the continental United States. Applicants should have a dedicated workspace, reliable internet access, and the ability to attend occasional in-person meetings or events. To create the best experience for our new hire (you?!) this position does require that you are able to work within eastern time (EST) business hours.
