Senior Software Engineer - Agentic AI
Location: UK (Fully Remote)
Compensation: £90k base + equity

The role
Own the journey from prototype to production for agentic AI services. You’ll design orchestration, build high-throughput APIs, and keep systems observable, reliable, and cost-aware.
What you’ll do
- Ship and harden agentic workflows (planning, tool use, retries/fallbacks, evals).
- Build and scale Python/FastAPI services; drive latency, accuracy, and cost improvements.
- Run services on Kubernetes; manage rollouts, resources, and debugging.
- Improve retrieval with vector search (e.g., Pinecone/Qdrant/pgvector) and hybrid strategies.
- Maintain healthy event-driven pipelines (Kafka/RabbitMQ/Redis) with DLQs, back-pressure, and idempotency.
- Raise engineering velocity via tests, CI/CD, and clear SLOs/alerting.
What you’ll bring
- 6+ years in software engineering with deep Python.
- Production experience with FastAPI (async), observability, and CI/CD.
- Hands-on agentic AI (LangChain/LangGraph or equivalent) deployed to real users.
- Solid Kubernetes fundamentals and comfort with event-driven systems.
- Practical experience with vector databases and retrieval quality.
Nice to have
Background in complex/regulated data workflows or document-heavy systems.
