Role Summary

As an Automation Support Engineer, you will be responsible for building, maintaining, and supporting automation workflows within our client’s low-code platform.

You’ll manage Tier 2/3 technical support issues, collaborate with internal teams and customers to design reliable automation solutions, and help drive product improvements based on real-world feedback. This role blends hands-on development, system integration, and customer communication perfect for someone who enjoys both coding and problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and resolve Tier 2/3 automation issues within customer-facing workflows.
• Independently scope, define, build, and deploy automation solutions using low-code tools and Python.
• Collaborate directly with customers to understand business needs and design aligned solutions.
• Maintain continuous communication throughout project and testing phases to ensure delivery success.
• Work closely with the support and development teams to implement fixes and align solutions with best practices.
• Identify recurring issues and contribute to knowledge base documentation to support continuous improvement.
• Follow the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and uphold quality, security, and documentation standards
  
  

Must-Have Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or a related field.
• 1–2+ years of experience in automation or software development, preferably in low-code environments.
• Proven ability to design and implement automation workflows and integrate systems using APIs.
• Strong understanding of SDLC principles and software best practices.
• Excellent English communication skills able to interact effectively with customers and internal teams.
• Familiarity with tools commonly used in the MSP industry and API-based integrations. Self-motivated, analytical, and resourceful problem-solver with strong attention to detail.
  
  

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Experience with Jinja2, HTML/CSS, or UI/UX principles.
• Exposure to scripting languages or low-code platforms.
• Understanding of workflow automation, orchestration, or RMM/PSA tools.
• Experience in MSP, SaaS, or cloud-based environments.
  
  

Reporting Line And Working Pattern

• Reports to: Support Manager or Head of Automation Delivery
• Fully remote, Philippines-based
• US time-zone coverage with global team handoffs
