Monthly salary: $3,500 - $3,800 USD

Along with our partner, we are seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to take full ownership of their cloud infrastructure and ensure high availability across their production systems. The selected professional will manage and improve their Google Cloud Platform (GCP) environment using Kubernetes (GKE), ArgoCD, Helm, Terraform, and GitLab CI/CD.

This is the primary DevOps position within our partner’s team, responsible for system uptime, monitoring, automation, and security. The engineer will collaborate directly with developers and stakeholders, ensuring smooth deployments, proactive cost control, and clear communication across teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Own infrastructure uptime, reliability, and alerting (on-call as needed).
  • Manage and scale Kubernetes (GKE) clusters for performance and cost efficiency.
  • Build and maintain GitLab CI/CD pipelines integrated with ArgoCD and Helm.
  • Define and manage Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
  • Configure and maintain Prometheus / Grafana for monitoring and dashboards.
  • Set up GCP billing alerts and budgets to prevent overspending.
  • Manage IAM roles, permissions, and network security within GCP.
  • Troubleshoot deployments, cluster instability, or networking issues.
  • Collaborate with developers and leadership to align on DevOps priorities.
  • Communicate effectively in English during daily team meetings and stakeholder sessions.
  • Present updates, progress, and reliability metrics to non-technical team members.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years in DevOps, SRE, or Cloud Infrastructure roles.
  • Deep hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform.
  • Expert knowledge of Kubernetes (GKE), Helm, ArgoCD, and Terraform.
  • Strong experience with GitLab CI/CD pipelines and automation.
  • Skilled with monitoring and alerting systems (Prometheus, Grafana).
  • Solid understanding of IAM, networking, and security in GCP.
  • Experience setting up cost monitoring and billing alerts.
  • Proficient English communication skills — both written and spoken.
  • Confident presenting to stakeholders and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • Comfortable being on-call during uptime incidents.
  • Available to start immediately

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with TypeScript / React (able to assist occasionally with Next.js application tasks if needed).
  • Experience with GitOps workflows and progressive rollouts.
  • Familiarity with logging stacks (Loki, Stackdriver, ELK, etc.).
  • Previous ownership of uptime SLAs or postmortem reporting.

Benefits:

  • A fully remote position with a structured schedule that supports work-life balance.
  • The opportunity to join a forward-thinking company building cutting-edge cloud infrastructure solutions for global scalability and performance.
  • Two weeks of paid vacation per year.
  • 10 paid days for local holidays.

*Please note our partner is only looking for full-time dedicated team members who are eager to fully integrate within their team.
