We are seeking an elite Sales & Design Manager to take ownership of our sales efforts across this prime territory. This is a crucial Player-Coach role where you are expected to be the top-tier individual producer and master designer while actively leading and mentoring our successful team of Pool Design Consultants.


Key Responsibilities

I. High-Value Custom Sales & Design (The Player)

  • Design & Consult: Manage a robust pipeline of leads, guiding clients to the perfect solution. Conduct in-home and on-site consultations, expertly showcasing how Blue Haven Pools on the Gulf delivers the highest quality Gunite construction at the most competitive value.
  • The Gunite Expert: Serve as the authority on luxury backyard design. Design and sell custom Gunite (concrete) pools and integrated outdoor living spaces, utilizing 3D software to create compelling visual proposals.
  • Value Proposition Mastery: Effectively communicate Blue Haven Pools on the Gulf’s competitive advantages and national scale, demonstrating why our superior construction quality translates into the best long-term investment for our clients.
  • Relationship Building: Actively network and cultivate relationships with local builders, architects, designers, and real estate professionals to secure consistent referral business.


II. Team Leadership & Strategic Growth (The Coach)

  • Talent Development: You will lead and mentor a highly successful, tenured team, including multiple designers who rank among the Top 10 nationally in sales volume. Recruit, onboard, and continuously train new Pool Design Consultants on the POTG sales process, design standards, and the crucial skill of communicating value.
  • Performance Drive: Set ambitious sales goals, conduct weekly pipeline reviews, and provide hands-on coaching and mentorship to ensure the team consistently meets and exceeds regional sales volume targets.
  • Market Strategy: Collaborate with the Blue Haven Pools on the Gulf leadership team to refine sales strategy, capture new residential and commercial projects, and cement our market dominance from Mobile to Panama City.


Qualifications

We are seeking a candidate with experience selling custom, high-ticket items and who excels at showcasing quality and value.

  • Luxury Sales Experience: Minimum of 5+ years of documented success in selling high-end, custom, or large-ticket construction products (e.g., custom remodeling, luxury vehicles, or custom pool construction).
  • Leadership Experience: Minimum of 3+ years of documented success in leading and managing high-performing sales teams
  • Pool Expertise: Proven track record in outside sales, preferably with direct experience in Gunite/Concrete construction or complex design-build projects.
  • Value Communication: Exceptional ability to articulate a value-based proposition, demonstrating how quality construction maximizes long-term client benefit.
  • Aesthetic Acumen: Strong aptitude for design and proficiency with 3D pool design software (or ability to quickly master it).
  • Leadership: Demonstrated ability to manage, motivate, and mentor a professional sales team.
  • Territory Knowledge: Strong familiarity with the residential and commercial construction market in South Alabama and the Florida Panhandle.
