We are building an AI-powered platform that transforms how organizations manage the quality of geospatial data. Our mission is to eliminate manual corrections, reduce operational costs, and improve the accuracy of downstream applications through automated data validation, anomaly detection, and geospatial intelligence. The platform serves as the foundation for a scalable ecosystem of data quality and analytics tools across industries such as automotive, telecom, insurance, digital twins, and IoT.
Responsibilities- Design and implement backend services supporting geospatial validation and anomaly detection pipelines;
- Build and maintain distributed data processing workflows using Apache Spark and Apache Sedona;
- Collaborate with product and visualization teams to integrate interactive geospatial analytics and diagnostics;
- Ensure high scalability, reliability, and maintainability of our microservices and data pipelines;
- Participate in architectural design, code reviews, and feature planning sessions;
- Contribute to our roadmap of vertical solutions in domains such as digital twins, utility networks, and automotive telemetry.
Qualification:- 5+ years of industry experience;
- 3+ years of hands-on software development in Python (Scala is a plus);
- Experience with cloud-based architectures (AWS or GCP);
- Proficiency in REST API design and integrating with CI/CD pipelines;
- Solid problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Nice to Have- Understanding of distributed computing frameworks (Apache Spark, Apache Sedona preferred);
- Familiarity with geospatial data formats (GeoJSON, GeoParquet, Shapefile);
- Experience with front-end mapping tools (Mapbox, deck.gl, Kepler.gl);
- Contributions to open-source GIS or data engineering projects.
