We are looking for a
Head of Marketing for Golf Galaxy (Senior Director). In this role, you will be the driving force behind the Golf Galaxy’s brand voice and marketing efforts You will be responsible for the strategic development, implementation, and optimization of integrated marketing initiatives that drive awareness, customer acquisition, and engagement, all while maximizing each media channel and driving sales. This role will require you to combine analytics, key insights, golf expertise and creativity to set a vision for our brand positioning that communicates a golfer experience that surpasses expectations.
Key Responsibilities
- Craft and execute a unified come to market strategy that aligns with Golf Galaxy's vision and growth targets. Drive customer-centric growth, focusing on increasing both customer acquisition and retention through elevated branding, targeted campaigns, tailored messaging, and a seamless digital experience.
- Lead brand positioning and messaging across all digital platforms to ensure consistent, clear, and engaging communications that reflect the Golf Galaxy's identity and value proposition.
- Collaborate with the creative team to ensure high-quality, engaging content (images, videos, blog posts, etc.) that aligns with brand identity and marketing objectives across all platforms.
- Monitor and improve media performance metrics through leveraging shared services across the larger DICK'S portfolio.
- Analyze and report on customer journeys, utilize data to identify patterns, optimize touchpoints, and personalize experiences to increase engagement and conversion. Lean into enterprise wide Athlete Experience workstreams to enhance personalization efforts and loyalty programs.
- Drive the exploration of new customer acquisition channels such as influencer partnerships and localized marketing opportunities
- Build and manage a high-performing team of marketers. Inspire, mentor, and develop team members to foster growth and innovation within the organization.
Qualifications
Experience: 10-15 years of experience in Integrated or Digital Marketing. Preferred experience within the retail or consumer goods sectors.
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communication or Digital Media. MBA preferred.
Role Location: The position is based at our headquarters near Pittsburgh, PA. We currently follow a hybrid model, working in the office from Tuesday to Thursday. Relocation to Pittsburgh will be provided for candidates residing outside of the Pittsburgh area.

- Strong financial acumen with successful experience in budgeting and P&L management
- Excellent presentation skills, capable of delivering high-impact presentations to senior leadership (C-suite)
- Collaborative team player with experience in working effectively across departments
- Strong understanding of end-to-end customer journeys across physical stores, online platforms, and social connectivity
- Expertise in leveraging customer segmentation to implement targeted marketing strategies
- Extensive experience in managing agency relationships
