camera image product manager

Role Description

Use vast knowledge of image aesthetics and user comprehension to optimize image effects and user experience. Work closely with the Image Technology team to execute competitor analysis, user research, and testing tasks. The individual must be able to work without close supervision and deliver within the specified deadline.

Main Responsibilities:

• To design competitive image effects or identify optimization directions
• To conduct a competitor analysis of smartphone cameras
• To perform user research and produce conversion reports
• To test the effects and experience of camera projects and summarize issues and their directions
• To use questionnaires or interviews to find out user preferences
• To keep abreast with new beauty trends concerning image

Qualifications

• Experience in product management, particularly with camera or imaging products, Digital product review blogger, KOL, camera test engineer or photographer is a plus
• Proficiency in market research and analysis
• Ability to develop product strategies and define product specifications
• Strong project management skills and ability to manage cross-functional teams
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Knowledge of the latest imaging technologies and trends is a plus
• Knowledge of camera reviews. Experience in smartphone reviews is a big plus.
• Accurate cognition of good photos and videos
• Passion for photography and videography
• Strong execution and responsibility
• Software skills: Proficient in Microsoft office. Proficiently using photo or video retouching tools (Photoshop, Lightroom, Affer Effects, Capcut or Davinci Resolve etc.) is a big plus.
• Language: English, Chinese
• Willing to relocate to and work onsite in Shanghai (visa support provided)
