An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced APAC Technology Support Lead (Event & Broadcast) to join a global team supporting one of the largest investment banks in the world. This role will be based in Hong Kong, and relocation will be required. You will play a key part in ensuring the seamless delivery of live and virtual events across the APAC region.
As a Technology Support Lead within the Employee Platforms team, you will take ownership of the operational stability, performance, and availability of high-profile production services, including large-scale town halls, live broadcasts, and executive meetings. You will work closely with global teams to maintain world-class standards in event execution and broadcast delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage outsourced technical teams, studio production, webcasts, and event transmission control for live and virtual events
- Oversee planning and delivery of complex, senior-level town halls and meetings across APAC, partnering closely with global colleagues in New York
- Collaborate with Communications teams to support editorial and creative decisions for internal and external productions
- Manage a portfolio of events as the primary technical lead, ensuring exceptional production quality
- Partner with Workplace Services and operations teams to allocate staff and equipment for each live event scenario
- Validate and implement new AV and broadcast technologies to maintain cutting-edge standards
- Coordinate pre-event testing and ensure adherence to validation and redundancy processes
- Deliver flawless show-calling and technical direction during live events
- Communicate real-time event status updates to management and follow incident management procedures as required
Required Skills & Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Data Science, or a related technical discipline
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in multimedia, broadcast operations, or live event technologies
- Proven leadership in studio production and live event environments, with deep technical knowledge of AV and broadcast systems
- Experience using enterprise streaming platforms such as Zoom and Kaltura
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple concurrent events and teams
- Excellent client service and communication skills, including experience engaging with senior stakeholders
- Calm under pressure, with a proactive approach to troubleshooting and live event recovery
- Background in supporting large enterprise or financial services environments is highly desirable
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience managing hybrid and virtual events within financial communications
- Familiarity with secure streaming, enterprise content delivery, and data privacy standards
- Advanced proficiency in multimedia and broadcast technologies tailored for corporate audiences
