Job Title: Data Engineer
Location: 100% Remote

We are seeking two motivated and detail-oriented Backend Data Resources to join our dynamic team. These entry-level roles offer an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge data projects while growing your expertise in data engineering and backend development. The ideal candidates will have a solid foundation in SQL and a strong interest in building scalable, efficient, and robust data pipelines. Looking for knowledge/experience with Databricks or Azure Data Factory.
Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and maintain data pipelines and ETL processes.
- Develop and optimize SQL queries to support data integration and reporting needs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and implement solutions.
- Monitor and improve data pipeline performance, ensuring high availability and reliability.
- Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues in a timely manner.
- Contribute to documentation of workflows, best practices, and technical processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Strong SQL experience, writing complex queries for analyzing and managing data.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Excellent communication skills to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Knowledge/Experience with Databricks or Azure Data Factory
