Title: AI/ML Engineer
Location: 100% Remote
Duration: 6 month contract to hire
Required Skills & Experience
• 7+ years of professional software engineering experience, with a strong emphasis on AI and machine learning in recent roles.
• Proven experience with:
• Strong background in machine learning, including the ability to write and optimize algorithms.
• Experience with Vector databases and embedding models for AI-driven search and recommendation systems.
• Experience integrating AI models into enterprise applications and services.
• Strong understanding of data security and compliance in cloud environments.
Nice to Have Skills & Experience (not required):
• Cloud Certifications: Google Cloud Professional Machine Learning Engineer or equivalent.
• Familiarity with supply chain systems and enterprise-scale data integration.
• Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Exposure to MLOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines for machine learning.
• Excellent communication skills for collaborating with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Job Description
Insight Global is looking for a Software Engineer who is focused on AI and machine learning to join an enterprise client as part of an initiative to incorporate more automation and machine learning into their environment. The candidate will design and implement advanced AI solutions, leveraging Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Vertex AI Studio to build Gemini agentic models. The position requires strong software engineering expertise combined with deep experience in machine learning and algorithm development.
Responsibilities
• Develop and deploy AI models using Vertex AI Studio on Google Cloud Platform (GCP), including Gemini agentic models.
• Integrate AI-driven solutions into existing applications by building Java and Spring Boot services for API endpoints.
• Design and implement machine learning algorithms to solve complex business problems in supply chain operations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of AI models into production environments.
• Optimize and maintain AI workflows, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship for AI initiatives within the IT Supply Chain organization.
Pay rate is projected to be within: 58-65/hr. determined by the hiring team during the interview process.
