Job Summary

Our client, a fast-growing startup in the financial services sector, is seeking a proactive and adaptable HR Generalist to manage day-to-day HR operations and support financial processes. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and can bridge HR management with financial insight to help shape the company’s growth and culture.


Key Responsibilities

HR Operations

  • Manage the complete employee lifecycle including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, employee relations, and offboarding.
  • Develop and implement HR policies and procedures in line with UAE Labor Law and company objectives.
  • Drive employee engagement and learning initiatives to build a strong, high-performing culture.
  • Support organizational development and ensure smooth HR operations in a startup setting.

Payroll & Finance Integration

  • Oversee accurate and timely payroll administration, benefits management, and employee compensation.
  • Partner with finance on HR budgeting, cost analysis, and headcount planning.
  • Track HR financial metrics to recommend cost-efficient and compliant strategies.

Performance & Culture

  • Lead performance management processes, ensuring goals, KPIs, and appraisals are effectively managed.
  • Promote a collaborative and transparent team culture that aligns with startup values.
  • Support leadership in scaling initiatives and organizational change as the company grows.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 3 -5 years of HR generalist experience within the UAE; exposure to startups or financial services is a strong plus.
  • Arabic speaker is preffered.
  • In-depth knowledge of UAE Labor Law, HR best practices, and payroll systems.
  • Proficiency in HRIS (Workday, SAP, or similar) and financial tools (Excel, QuickBooks).
  • Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Preferred Certifications: SHRM-CP, PHR, CFA, or CPA.
