This role offers a dynamic opportunity for experienced IT professionals to drive product vision and strategy within an Agile environment. The Senior IT Product Owner is responsible for defining and prioritizing the product backlog, ensuring alignment with business objectives and IT standards. You will act as the voice of the customer, translating complex requirements into actionable features and guiding the Agile delivery team toward measurable outcomes. The role involves collaboration with stakeholders, innovation in product development, and decision-making on moderately complex technical issues. This fully remote position allows flexibility while maintaining a strategic impact on digital solutions that improve user experiences and operational efficiency.

Accountabilities:

  • Define, articulate, and manage the product vision and roadmap for IT solutions
  • Own and prioritize the product backlog, breaking down work into short, deliverable increments of value
  • Collaborate with Agile delivery teams, stakeholders, and leadership to ensure alignment with business and IT strategies
  • Influence product direction and contribute to the creation of features and user stories
  • Make decisions on technical approaches and solutions for moderately complex to complex project components
  • Drive innovation and continuous improvement while maintaining adherence to IT standards and best practices


Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field
  • 5+ years of technical experience, ideally in product ownership or IT project delivery
  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and experience working with Agile delivery teams
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to interact effectively with stakeholders and technical teams
  • Ability to make informed decisions independently on moderately complex issues
  • Analytical and strategic thinking capabilities with a focus on delivering measurable business value
