About The Role
As a Junior Social Media Specialist at ZetaChain, you will play a vital role in shaping and executing our social media presence across various platforms, including X (formerly Twitter), Telegram, YouTube, and LinkedIn. Your primary responsibilities will involve creating compelling social media content, writing engaging articles, scheduling posts, and actively engaging with our vibrant community. You will be instrumental in fostering community interactions, responding to trends, and collaborating with other brands and influencers within the Web3 and crypto space. Your insights will help propose creative strategies to enhance our social media impact, and you will compile performance reports to measure success and identify areas for improvement.
Success in this role requires a strong understanding of the Web3 culture, excellent copywriting skills, and a crypto-native mindset. You should be highly familiar with trending memes, crypto jargon, and the degen community, enabling you to craft authentic and resonant content. As a key member of our marketing team, you will work closely with the Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) and cross-functional teams such as product, business development, and developer relations to align communication strategies with broader organizational goals. Given our global team, adaptability in communication style and cultural awareness are essential. This role is exclusively open to applicants based in US time zones, ensuring real-time collaboration and engagement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, or a related field
- Minimum of 1+ years of experience in social media management, marketing, or similar roles
- Exceptional copywriting skills with the ability to create engaging, on-brand content across multiple platforms
- Deep understanding of the crypto and Web3 space, including community culture and trends
- Proficiency in writing in a crypto-native, degen tone that resonates with the Web3 community
- Highly active online, with the ability to identify and leverage trending memes, news, and trends
- Experience with major social media platforms and analytics tools
- Located within US time zones
- Fluent or native-level English language skills
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement social media strategies tailored to each platform, including X, LinkedIn, YouTube, and Telegram
- Plan, create, and schedule engaging content, managing social media calendars effectively
- Monitor social channels for activity, engagement, and community feedback
- Track and analyze performance metrics, providing regular reports on engagement, growth, and campaign effectiveness
- Engage actively with the community, responding to comments and messages to foster a vibrant online presence
- Interact with other Web3 brands, influencers, and KOLs to build strategic relationships and expand reach
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support marketing initiatives and ensure consistent messaging
- Stay updated on industry trends, memes, and breaking news to keep content fresh and relevant
