Our client is a UK based venture funded start-up, providing a digital platform to support schools, school groups, education suppliers and ministries to bring education data together, collect data via surveys, and analyse this using our sector-leading multi-agentic AI.
We are looking inhouse Middle up level - QA/manual tester support them in improving our existing products, developing new ones and in enhancing our customers’ experience. Responsibilities will encompass testing all stages of the development lifecycle.
Professional Requirements:
● Excellent verbal and written English language communication skills.
● Exposure to team leadership and managers.
● Experience working with a distributed team (multiple locations, and ideally including employees from vendors, consultants and contractors).
● Logical thinker with good problem solving skills, and the
ability to discuss, analyze and manage requirements and workloads effectively.
● The ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
● Good IT skills and the ability to think of solutions (and outside the box).
● Hungry to learn and develop and take the lead for your area of our business.
● To be able to work flexibly to meet business needs given reasonable notice or in the case of significant software failure.
Essential Requirements:
● Manual testing experience; to include regression, systems and exploratory testing.
● Experience in SQL query language
● Experience in all key software testing stages, including:
o Test plan design and strategy.
o Writing test cases.
o Executing test cases.
o Opening bugs.
o Verifying bugs.
● Knowledge of how to access application logs, and to be able to filter based on
information, error, and warning logs.
● Experience in SQL query language.
An advantage (but not essential) if you also have knowledge or experience in the following:
● Selenium or other automated testing solutions (although note we do not currently have any automation testing in place).
● Familiarity with programming languages — ideally C#, Typescript, JavaScript.
● Test automation and the ability to write scripts.
