Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the definition and development of FPGA architectures for automotive applications, especially in LiDAR-based systems.
- Act as Product Owner for FPGA-related components, managing the product backlog and prioritizing features based on business and technical needs.
- Translate customer and system requirements into FPGA specifications and development plans.
- Collaborate closely with hardware, software, and system engineering teams to ensure seamless integration.
- Maintain a global understanding of the system, ensuring FPGA solutions fit within the overall architecture.
- Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and cross-functional teams.
- Monitor project progress, risks, and dependencies, and ensure timely delivery of FPGA solutions.
- Stay up to date with the latest FPGA technologies and automotive standards.
Required Qualifications:
- Proven experience in FPGA development and architecture, ideally within the automotive domain.
- Strong understanding of LiDAR technologies and their role in automotive perception systems.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills; ability to act as a bridge between technical and non-technical teams.
- Experience working in cross-functional environments and managing technical roadmaps.
- Familiarity with automotive standards such as ISO 26262, A-SPICE, and functional safety principles.
- Fluent in English (written and spoken).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Tier 1 automotive suppliers or OEMs.
- Knowledge of VHDL/Verilog, high-level synthesis tools, and FPGA platforms (e.g., Xilinx, Intel).
- Understanding of sensor fusion and perception systems.
