Tasks & Responsibilities

  • Build crucial parts of their platform
  • Define and implement the architecture of their platform, which consists of edge cloud components, and corresponding platform and online services
  • Lead 3 other DevOps Engineers
  • Take responsibility when it comes to technological decisions
  • Work with the product manager and the team to translate product requirements into implementable designs and actionable tasks

Requirements

  • You are a highly creative problem solver with a hands-on attitude, looking at problems from the customer’s perspective.
  • You have hands-on experience in getting services deployed in Kubernetes environments, both in the cloud and on-prem. You understand the AWS and Azure worlds and have a working knowledge of Ansible and/or related tools.
  • You are a skilled communicator and comfortable in using English to talk about technical subjects. You happily share knowledge, and you are patient about it.
  • Service-oriented architectures are more than a buzzword for you, and you can talk about them, considering aspects like granularity, orchestration, or security.
  • You have experience with AI offerings from OpenAI and Microsoft, Amazon, or Google.
  • You have worked on a software development kit or similar before and understand how to make functionality accessible to developers.
  • You understand the operational implications of delivering and supporting a platform.
  • Deep knowledge of Linux package management and system configuration is at your disposal.
