About the Role
We're seeking a detail-oriented Junior Research Operations Specialist to join our team and support the operational excellence of our UX research function. In this role, you'll be the backbone of our research activities, ensuring our research teams have everything they need to deliver high-quality insights efficiently.
What You'll Do
- Coordinate and manage research project logistics, including participant recruitment, scheduling, and incentive management
- Maintain and organize research tools, databases, and participant panels to ensure data quality and accessibility
- Support research operations by managing NDAs, consent forms, and compliance documentation
- Assist in vendor management and procurement of research tools and services
- Help streamline research processes and maintain operational documentation
- Coordinate cross-functional communication between research teams and stakeholders
- Support budget tracking and resource allocation for research projects
- Troubleshoot technical issues with research tools and platforms
- Maintain research repositories and knowledge management systems
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Psychology, Social Sciences, or related field
- 1-3 years of experience in operations, project coordination, or research support
- Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail
- Proficiency in Google Workspace/Microsoft Office Suite
- Comfortable learning new tools and technologies quickly
- Excellent communication skills in English and Mandarin (additional languages a plus)
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment
- Interest in user research, UX, or product development
- Problem-solving mindset with a proactive approach
Nice to Have
- Familiarity with research tools (e.g., Qualtrics, UXArmy, UserTesting, Maze, Dovetail, etc.)
- Basic knowledge of Figma for basic graphic design.
- Experience with project management tools (e.g., Notion, Jira)
- Understanding of data privacy regulations and research ethics
- Previous experience in a tech or startup environment
