The Role

As a Software Engineer (Forward Deployed), you will be on the front lines, embedding with clients to build full-stack applications that solve their toughest challenges.

• Work directly with client operators to understand their core needs.
• Own the end-to-end development of AI and data applications.
• Code daily in Python, TypeScript, and React on distributed systems.
• Translate complex business problems into robust technical solutions.
• Travel up to 30% to drive transformation on-site.

The Essential Requirements

• 1-5 years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong coding skills in Python and/or TypeScript/React.
• Solid background in data engineering, data analysis, or building data pipelines.
• Deep experience building and deploying GenAI/LLM solutions.
• Experience with distributed systems.
• Prior experience in a client-facing or forward-deployed role.
• Excellent communication skills; able to translate non-technical needs into code.
• A clear, mission-driven mindset beyond just compensation or tech.
• Based in or willing to relocate to New York City.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field
