What we’re looking for:
We’re looking for a HR & Recruitment Manager who brings structure, empathy, and strong execution to every phase of the employee lifecycle—from hiring and onboarding to performance reviews and policy development. The ideal candidate has direct experience managing end-to-end recruitment for tech roles (particularly in product and engineering), and thrives in a remote, fast-paced, detail-driven environment.
This is a role for someone who takes deep pride in building exceptional teams, understands the nuances of people operations, and is comfortable handling sensitive information with discretion and maturity. You should be process-minded, resourceful, and ready to lead with both warmth and precision. Responsibilities—what you'll do:
Hiring
- Manage the hiring process from start to finish based upon Asana template.
- Ensure process moves forward, nudging internal team
- Help develop Job Alignment Tool, Job Post, and help develop interview questions and skills tests
- Post job on Workable, necessary job boards, and internal website
- Review applications, build and maintain Workable pipeline.
- Handle initial screening interviews
- Schedule and manage future interviews, including equipping managers and stakeholders with necessary tools.
- Ensure scorecards are completed after each interview
- Help coordinate and prepare job offers
- Keep candidates warm throughout process and send fast, respectful rejections.
Onboarding
- Manage the onboarding process from start to finish based upon Asana template. Ensure process moves forward, nudging internal team
- Set up software and new user access
- Work with internal team to develop training program and schedule training meetings
- Conduct internal training meetings
- Coordinate welcome, buddy assignment, and first-week agenda.
People Ops
- Help manage the annual team evaluation process in collaboration with CFO based upon Asana template. Ensure process moves forward, nudging internal team
- Run evaluation cycle logistics in Asana. Nudge to on-time completion.
- Setup Notion pages where the evaluations live — for self eval + manager eval pages
- Help facilitate the team compensation review process using Asana template + spreadsheets
- Help with ongoing team feedback loops (potential surveys, etc.)
Administration & Culture
- Support planning for team off-sites.
- Help develop and manage new org policies
- Help optimize a remote org / help develop strong culture remotely
- Generally help with org compliance around employment
- Assist with benefits selection and administration (if relevant)
Requirements:
- Alignment with time zone above (+/- 1 hour from ET)
- Direct experience in recruitment, specifically for tech roles (product management & engineering)
- Managed process, reviewed applications, interviewed candidates, worked on behalf of other departments who would manage the team member
- Maturity having visibility into team member salaries that exceed their own without mounting frustration
- Strong experience using applicant tracking systems (ideally Workable)
- Experience with US employers
- Fully fluent in English
- Skilled in the use of apps and technology
- Ability to commit long-term and full-time
